Cheryl Douglass, Certified Health Coach
Welcome to my website! My name is Cheryl Douglass and I have always enjoyed learning about nutrition and healthy eating and went back to college in my 20's to get my degree in Foods & Nutrition. It was a hobby of mine as I raised my five children and I tried to incorporate healthy meals into our family.
It's all about Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude and Nutrition
After my children had grown I worked as a Nutritionist for the Women, Infants & Children program (WIC), which is a government program to assist expectant and young mothers and their infants and young children. Although I enjoyed helping my clients, the fast pace of the clinic along with the lack of motivation on the part of many clients was frustrating to me because I didn't see any lasting change. Because of this I decided to go into health coaching so that I could encourage and guide people who desire to grow in their wellness journey. I researched the many schools for certifying health and wellness coaches and chose the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute because of it's holistic nature and science based methods, especially the Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude & Nutrition (L.E.A.N.) approach.
I offer health coaching for individuals, families and small groups. Our first meeting is a free discovery session to see if we can work with each other. I want you to be achieving the health goals that you set and enjoying the times we get together. Would you be interested in exploring how the two of us working together could be a benefit to you in your wellness journey?
